Gain Laundry Detergent – For infants

category: Uncategorized author: kenmacnab

Gain detregent is a great cost cutting alternatvie to Tide and is manufacture by the same parent company ( Proctor and gamble) . Gain is popular for mothers who adore really fragrant clothing. The scent is absolutely amazing and will carry through well after you put it through the dryer

This detergent works well in both  cold and warm water, I always use cold water as it saves a boatload on my electrical bill every month .  I’ve used this product over and over and I love the scent and the power of the product. Gain can clean some of the most difficult stains my little one tries. One problem i have had is the measuring cup though.. The  cup that comes with Gain is very difficult to read. You might not get the right measurement specified for each laundry load.

You must be careful with your laundry detergent as Some babies are highly sensitive with detergents containing enzymes. Enzymes are used to literally eat and break down stains particularly protein-based stains. While this may not be a problem for some babies it can create a nasty rash if they have an allergic reaction ( thankfully my little one does not) .

If your child has perfume allergy, do not use this product.  Gains great smell is because of the amount of perfume it contains.
Nevertheless, try switching brands from time to time to find the most suitable detergent for your child.  I Love gain and have had no problems with the little one.

Gain Outdoor Sunshine Powder Detergent

category: Uncategorized author: kenmacnab

I have used Gain products in the past, actually it was one of their liquid  detergents , but I stopped when I couldn’t find them in the stores around my area. About  6 months ago , I saw the ”Gain with Bleach Outdoor Sunshine Scent Powder Detergent  63 Loads, 100-Ounce”, and decided to buy it, to give it a try, since I only made use of the liquid detergent, and not the powder form.

After my first wash with the powder detergent , I have to admit that it does work as it says. I have been using it all this while with my new washing machine, which washes with hot water, but a month ago, I tried it with the older machine that works with cold water and the result was pretty cool; I  was actually surprised because I  wasn’t expecting it to work so well in cold water, but it did.

As for the bleach aspect, that almost turned me off from buying it at first, but when I remembered my son’s clothes, I opted in and I am glad I did. You need to see the difference in my son’s white t-shirts, it is really obvious that the bleach in the detergent is active. My daughters ballet dress had a huge chocolate stain on it and I used the detergent to give it a quick hand-wash ; it was a big relieve to see the stains all gone.

Gain with Bleach Outdoor Sunshine Scent Powder Detergent  really works and I would recommend it to any household. It takes the disappointment of re-washing away from your laundry experience. No more pre-washing stained clothes  or adding drops of bleach to my sons whites tees. This does all the job and the pleasant floral scent is so appealing and leaves the laundry smelling divine.

Gain Apple Mango Tango detergent

category: Uncategorized author: kenmacnab

My experience with the Gain Apple Mango Tango detergent has been so good that I don’t know where to start with the review of this Gain detergent, but I guess I have to start at the beginning. I bought the Gain Apple Mango Tango detergent  two weeks ago and have used it twice for my laundry. I normally add extra fragrance to my laundry  because the other detergents I use don’t give my clothes the smell that I want. I have been doing this for over 3 yrs until a  few weeks ago , when a flat-mate told me to try Gain Apple Mango Tango, and also use it without adding my usual fragrance.

I was reluctant to buy one, so  she  gave me some of hers’ to try, which I did of course and I was amazed at the result I got. I never knew that a detergent could have such a superb smell;exotic, fresh and so fruity. I had to run to the stores immediately and bought one for myself .

Gain Apple Mango Tango  does not just smell fabulous, it also washes well and makes the clothes soft and durable. It fights stubborn stains, so you don’t need stain removers added (except you want to).

Another thing I like about the detergent is that after washing, ironing and  storing the clothes in the drawers, you can still perceive the scent anytime you open your drawers or take out any clothes. I recommended it to my sister and when she takes her laundry out of the dryer, she just buries her face in it .

I think this is the best  Gain Apple Mango Tango   ever and will recommend it to anyone who wants a unique  exotic, fruity, clean and  fresh smelling laundry.

The history of Gain,

category: Uncategorized author: kenmacnab

Everyone knows gain detergent as it has become a staple in most of our households, but how did this product become the marketing jugger naught it is today?

Gain is the brain child o procor and gamble, William Procter, a candlemaker, and James Gamble, a soapmaker, immigrated from England and Ireland respectively. Alexander Norris, their father-in-law, called a meeting in which he persuaded his new sons-in-law to become business partners. On October 31, 1837, as a result of the suggestion, Procter & Gamble was born.

Proctor and gamble went on to become one of the most powerful companies in America they own many product lines, including Gain, tide, Crest, Pampers, as well as hundreds more. This aggressive marketing and successful technologies is what makes proctor and gamble such an amazing success.

Gain is the newest detergent line from proctor and gamble and is billed as a  more cost effective detergent compared to their very expensive Tide detergent, although both companies share the same father they use different scents and ingredients in their laundry detergents. Also both companies use entirely different advertising, with tide focusing on the cleaning power and glade trying to win consumers over with the amazing smell.

Gain HE Laundry Detergent

category: Uncategorized author: kenmacnab

After switching to a front load washing machine almost 5 years aga it was very difficult to find a HE washing detergent, it seemed that tide had the market cornered. I recently was in the grocery store and decided to try out the new Gain HE laundry detergent.

The problem with front load machine  is that regular detergent will never work properly , to much detergent  and you get a ton of soap and suds, to little and your clothes are never clean  This is the purpose of the high efficiency detergent. Clean washing using less water with less suds.

I boght the gain detergent for 4.99 at wall mart using a coupon and was thrilled for the price, tide is incredibly expensive and its great to find a reasonably priced HE detergent.  Also if you have a  have septic tank like me  Gain He is safe to use. This  is another reason why I prefer liquid detergents over powders. Liquid detergents are suppose to break down better than powder detergents. Gain HE does not contain any phosphate.

After using gain for a few weeks I can say the following :

I have found Tide HE works better for heavy soiled items than Gain HE, but for everyday laundry, Gain HE meets my needs just fine.

When doing the laundry, I only need to use about 1/3 of a capful for a full load and my clothes come out smelling fresh and clean. I love the smell of Gain.
